My 3 day stay at The Langham at Gold Coast

Beach front views

I went on a sister trip recently to the Gold Coast for 3 whole days to relax, eat and stretch out my legs somewhere else other than at my home desk.

And I have to say my stay at The Langham Gold Coast made this short trip away – A-may-zing.

The Langham Gold Coast

The Langham Gold Coast is situated right between Surfer’s paradise and Broadbeach – giving you breath taking ocean views the moment you wake up. The hotel is located within walking distance to some of the most popular destinations in The Gold Coast with lots of transportation links to get you to other areas if you want.

The Langham is home to 7 different food & beverage venues, with Akoya being the place for a luxurious breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. I went for the breakfast buffet everyday while I was there and tried out their really nice seafood dinner buffet one night as well. Highly recommend it even if you’re not staying at the Langham.

Junior Ocean Suite

There’s a few different room types that they provide, and we were lucky enough to get a Junior  Ocean Suite. (it might be called junior, but the room is BIG)

So big, it has a hallway around the same size as the one at my own home.

Apart from the breathtaking ocean views that all the furniture seems to be directed towards – with the TV being so wisely placed on the side, because, let’s be honest, no one has time to watch TV with a view like that – there’s a massive bathtub right in the middle of the bathroom.

Massive bathtub to relax and recharge after a day of sightseeing!

The room comes with a king size bed and a large balcony with a sun bed for you to thoroughly enjoy your ocean view and the sound of waves in the privacy of your own room. The mini bar comes nicely stocked, but like always – I don’t touch that unless its complementary.

The room itself is spacious enough for even a dooms day prepper to store their things neatly away. There’s a large wardrobe and a few open areas for your suitcase to just lay flat and open.

The room offers a pillow menu for you to find the perfect pillow

My experience at the end of the day

The room was amazing, and my stay at The Langham made me wish I could stay here for a few more days. The room felt new, was extremely comfortable, everything worked as it should and things were easy to find intuitively.

I don’t think I could tire from waking up with that amazing Gold Coast view. ever.

And, the check in and check out process was smooth and painless.

The hotel also has an amazing gym, and a beautiful indoor and outdoor pool that I highly recommend you check out.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. It was a 5 minute walk to the tram, and stones throw away from the beach. The room is luxurious and comfortable with a world-famous view (I mean, just imagine falling asleep to the sound of the waves!)
