The POD - Was it worth the stay?
Watch the Video Here!
I’m back in Singapore a second time to correct my horrendously embarrassing mistake from my first trip. (click here if you want to know what mistake I made) This time round I decided to stay at The Pod; a different boutique capsule hotel in Singapore.
Last time many of you said that you didn’t know there were capsule hotels in Singapore. The Pod isn’t exactly a capsule hotel, but they provide small private rooms that are great for short stays, solo travellers and budget travellers.
Watch the video above to see my experience at The Pod.

What to expect?
Great location, The Pod is walking distance to many places (yes, walking, even in Singaporean weather).
The whole building is a very chic looking industrial x hotel cabin look with the grey walls and the dark wood finishings. The rooms are a snug small room that has a single bed and a small desk and chair next to it.
That’s pretty much it. You walk in and see everything.
The walls were bit on the thin side, which meant the rooms were not sound proof. At. All.
However, that’s pretty much the only flaw I can say. They even give you ear plugs so it’s not like they’ve chosen to ignore the flaw.
A simple breakfast is included which was more than enough to start the day. Also perfect if you’re too tired to explore the neighbourhood for breakfast.
