Delicious thai lao food in Sydney
Watch the Video Here!
I can’t be the only one missing Thailand’s beaches, night markets and the endless amounts of cheap, mouth-watering food.
One of the first places I travelled to when I started this YouTube journey was Thailand, specifically, Pattaya and Bangkok. One of the many things I loved during my time there was the amazing food I got to eat when I was there.
That’s why I decided to take you to one of my personal favourite restaurants for Thai Lao food in Sydney.
Twelve Spices serves an extensive menu of Thai and Lao dishes that will take you right back to your summer vacation!
Twelve Spices
Address: 197 St Johns Rd, Canley Heights NSW 2166
Website: https://www.twelvespices.com.au
Open everyday from 11am – 3pm / 5pm – 9:30pm
What you shouldn't miss out on:
Thai Milk Tea
I actually never tried a Thai Milk Tea until this visit. The staff recommended it to me and I’m glad they did.
It’s much sweeter and creamier than a normal milk tea. A very refreshing drink for a hot day.
Lao Sausages
Lao sausages arguably is a must-have when at a Lao restaurant.
The lao sausages at Twelve Spices are herby, meaty and very extremely satisfying. I order these each time I come.
Larb Salad
Extremely appetising and full of flavour. If you like tart, savoury flavours then you’ll enjoy this.
Chicken Pad See Ew
I absolutely love this. Thick, flat rice noodles stir fried and coated with a savoury sauce.
I had Pad see ew more times I could count while in Thailand because it was so yummy and cheap.
Honestly there's more
Twelve Spices has an extensive menu and there’s some great gems waiting for you to discover. I went alone today so I physically didn’t have the stomach space to order it all to show you.
But the Ox tongue, crispy pork belly and the Tom Yum Goong are worth trying.
